They sat in the rain under the clear umbrellas and it was magical. It was romantic like that rainy scene from The Notebook. It is a rare occurrence to witness a wedding ceremony in the rain, but the bride was thrilled and the guests were good sports about it. The fact that our venue would do something like that for one who would choose it is a sign of flexibility for us as well.

Ultimately, we need to be aware of all these things and more - just in case. This way everyone knows what needs to be done with the set up team. And this way the guests are not even aware that there was another plan because you don’t want last minute changes happening while guests are arriving. This gives the bride time to process what it’s going to be because it’s not her dream scenario so she can feel good about it instead of doing it at the last minute where she could be in tears about it.
